Riding out the Winter storm

Lots of snow, we had about 2 feet in Long Island. Our tradition after lots of shoveling is to cook up some steaks, crack a bottle of wine and put a fire in the fireplace.

Forgot to get the finished, plated product, but I can assure you it was tasty !!!

I love doing the same after a good winter storm. Got delayed by a day on this one - there was just too much snow. But I'm back on the grill tonight.

Steaks, 'gus and taters on the grill is one of my faves. Nice job!

Impressive!!! Myself... I'd have booked a flight to Jamaica or Brazil. That's some true dedication on your part & the food looks great.

Well done, Brian. First priority in shoveling is get to the grill. Then you can worry about silly things like sidewalks and driveways.

What is that basket you've got the potatoes in? That looks like it could hold a full bag of fingerlings or small red potatoes. I want it.

I agree with Luke P. Important things first!!! also what is that basket thing? I grill potato wedges all the time and the always fall through the grates. That would simplify things! Mmmmm, steak....

Great looking cook Brian. I know you guys got hammered with snow up there. I'm originally from Long Island and I still have family there on the east end.
