Post a picture of your pets.

So in addition to the excessive heat, a bunch of fires have broken out. And the midday sun looks like sunset. Everything outside is covered in ash. I just told Lola there will be no outdoor play today.

I swear this girl understands English.
Is Lola a boy dog that likes to dress up like a girl dog?;)

SOLD (Stinky Old Lumpy Dog) will turn 15 during the last week of December but the grains in the upper half of her hourglass are becoming painfully few. The kids found her at the local shelter (more likely it was the other way around) way back in 2006 and she's been The Best Dog Ever ever since...it's tough watching her age and when the day we're dreading finally comes there's a pretty good chance she'll be the last dog that lives here.

She was he, she was a showgirl, or whatever Lola wants Lola gets, it all depends on how old you are.:)

That'll be a such sad day when SOLD crosses over. We went through that a year ago with our dear Gracie. It was so hard to let her go even though it was the right thing to do for her. We still miss her everyday. She would give SOLD a run for her money for The Best Dog Ever. We're grateful we still have Lola; she made the pandemic so much easier to bear.

My wife’s dachshund.
Ginger will be 14 years old later this year. She loves the beach and taking long naps.

She can hear a cheese package rattle at 40 paces and comes running.

So sorry about Gracie - I assume this is her pic? LOVE those gray faces. And hers is so sweet and wise-looking.

I gave up dogs as pets, it's too heartbreaking when they crossover. I took up cats figuring it would easier. It's probably going to be worse, this guy has been my greatest pet ever

These are / were my pups. The one on the left is Jett. She was a rescue and is a Schipperke / Lab mix. She’s about 7 years old and is a mush. She’s very attached to my wife and kids.

The handsome boy on the right was my best friend for 15 and a half years. His name was Diesel, and I miss him tremendously. He was a miniature pincsher. He was with me with I moved out of my parents place, when I got married and when I brought each of my daughters home. So smart and just a very chill guy. No barking, loved to follow me in and out of the house when the BBQ was going. We lost him just this last October when he stopped eating and eventually let us know it was time to cross the rainbow bridge. I take comfort that he‘s with his brother Harley, who I lost 7 years back (Hence, the introduction of Jett) and my grandmother who would sneak him treats.

Again, I have a soft spot for those gray faces. Do you think she is Belgian Malinois? I haven't seen a brindle before, but I had a
"mutt" Belgian. She had that same sweet face and her black mask turned all white.
