Porterhouse Veal Chops

Here are some pictures of a couple porterhouse veal chops I got from a local butcher shop, on sale for a good price. It's been a while since I've had a nice thick veal chop, the last time being a few years ago at an Italian restaurant, so it was nice to have one on my plate once again. Thanks for checking out the post!

Coated the chops with Oakridge Santa Maria Grill Seasoning, and cooked them reverse sear over lump charcoal on the Performer.

Plated photos below. I found the Oakridge Santa Maria to be a good seasoning for the chops, as it didn't overpower the mild flavor of the veal.

I'm always jealous when you show us some of the cuts you get from your local butcher, Jerome! That's a great resource you have there! These veal chops are no exception, and finely prepared, too. Yum!

That's as good as it gets Jerome. I don't think I've ever had veal chops, will have to look into that
