Pork Steaks and Crashers

We found a pack of PS in the grocery store. I haven't had them in quite some time and on this rainy, sleeting and windy day....a PS will go a long way.
I rubbed them with Wolfe's bold and some Suddenly Marvelous Sweet Seduction. I set up the grill with one charcoal bank filled with a mix of RO Lump and KB. I pilled the bank away from the rim to leave a gap of about another bank. (saw it this morning and thought I'd give er a try). I filled the gap with the same and lit about 10 or so pieces of KB in the chimney. I also placed a foil pan in a filled it about 3/4's of an inch with water. Well, there's the set up, let's get to it huh?

I cooked them indirect for about an hour and flipped them 1/2 hour in. After the hour was up the went into a foil boat and sealed. I side is some Stubbs Sweet Heat.

After another half an hour they were removed and went direct to get all icky sticky.

Toni made up some crash hots in the CI in the oven. A mix of Mexican blend Cheese, Jane's Crazy Mixed up Seasoning and jalapenos.

We also had so broccoli, WA WA WA WAAAAAA
Here we are on the pie plate ready to hit the pie hole

A little closer

I'll save you a bite, no?

I apologize Brian, I couldn't remember who's post showed that set up, but yes I liked it. I should've placed my water tray in a different spot but other than that it worked fine.

Pork steaks & sides look real good Gene. Will trade you one day of your snow for the wind that we have had here.
