Did some wings for the Monday night game last night - I wanted to test drive a new condiment I had scored recently. I started with a couple bags of our local frozen peaches, added 3/4 cup of sugar and couple of table spoons of Yellow Lantern Chilli Sauce. This stuff has plenty of kick!
Got things going - like just about everywhere this week it's been cold! (I think it was 5 when we lit the BBQ) We've got a fair amount of snow with the the cold too, with more on the way today.
Just put them on - mixed up some Shaoxing cooking wine, thin soy sauce, sesame oil, ground Szechuan pepper, flour, and corn starch
Then sauced them after about 50 minutes:
topped them with a little parm and green onion
one more from the top: Spicy goodness to help stay warm! -
