We spent the day at Big bear lake. We kept it simple and the fireworks show was great!!!

Had to use the weber q. No charcoal due to forest restrictions.

Not really. It was raining hard as we were driving up but then it cleared up. Last year it was more full.

Excellent post, once again, Tony. It's totally a minor detail, but here's something I think is neat -- I like how you set the finished burgers atop a bed of onions on the cast-iron pan once they finished grilling.
