Barb and I were alone this Thanksgiving and decided to do a few things differently.
I’ve grilled or smoked our Thanksgiving turkey for the last four or five years so we decided to cook the bird in the oven (I know I can hear the moans already) so we could have the great smells of a cooking turkey.
We also decided to do some first time different sides so we did those on the outdoor oven the Weber E320.
Barb did an Almond-Cranberry Butternut Squash Bake and I did a Grilled Stout Stuffing using some left over homemade Saturday bread. Barb also did a new roll recipe Bakers Dozen Yeast Rolls.
Everything came out great, but it was one long day and way too much food.
