New York Steaks and Sides

Ever accidentally "x" out your post, one pic from completing post, and lose the whole freaking thing? Just did that, so here goes again. We were in Costco the other day and I picked up two nice Prime New York Steaks. They came out great but I think I like the Rib eyes better. I did the steaks on my new Weber Gourmet Grate. I picked it up this week after seeing it on Amazon on sale for $69 and free shipping. Couldn't pass it up. To go along with the steaks I did some Baby Bella Mushrooms, a recipe I saw here a couple of months ago. They came out great also. Tried some French Style Mashed Potatoes. They tasted great but I was a little disappointed with them as they came out a little too "runny" for my taste. Rounded things out with some Lemon Broccoli. Here's a few pic's of last night's cook.

Got the potatoes (Yukon Gold) and the broccoli going.



Got the steaks resting with a little salt and pepper only.



Here's the mushrooms breaded and ready to go.



Just transferred the potatoes from the Food Processor to pan for final heating.



Got the steaks going on my new grate.



Moved the steaks over to indirect along with the mushrooms.



Got the broccoli going in my cast iron veggie wok.



Broccoli all done and topped with some grated Parmigiano Reggiano.



Mushrooms are done.



Plated and ready for dinner!!!



Everything came out great. I love the Gourmet System from Weber. Hope everyone has a great weekend. Thanks for looking.
