The Lady of the house AKA the Love of my life wanted me to have a new BBQ Pit area so that I don't have to all of my Kettles on the Patio. I came home Friday night to find my new pit area.

Pretty sweet area....it's a pit where I can BBQ so a BBQ pit.

I was able to keep my BBQ chair on the patio

I didn't even know she knew how to drive one of these

Now for the pulled pork sammies, we've enjoyed the Root beer Bourbon glaze so much that I made a batch and pulled some pulled pork out of the freezer.

I warmed the pork up on the grill with some smoke added

Some very good eats....looking forward to cooking from the new pit area.

Great looking sammies James. The little lady has some skills, I don't know if I could even figure out how to get that Cat off the trailer.

Great looking s'wiches. That's quite a favor your wife did you. That could get muddy. Going for some concrete?

Wow, very jealous of the pit area. I am looking to do a grill patio soon, definitely need a dedicated space for my cooks.
And those sandwiches look fantastic, might have to steal the ideas for the toppings.

Those sammies look delicious and that new BBQ area will be great when its done I'm sure. Looking forward to seeing your first cook from it and I'm sure your wife will enjoy it also.

Great looking pit area, what our your plans for it? Sammies look great too. Barb and I are looking forward to that root beer bourbon glaze rib recipe that we're going to do next week.

When I finally persuade my wife to "give up" one of the flower beds (or even part of one) I am designing a variation on heat you've got started there. Right now, when winter comes and its -15 I'm,happy to have my "pit" right outside the back door!

As suggested by Robert R.....getting ready for the concrete.
