Howdy folks..I really wanted to go fishing yesterday but the weather was suppose to be crappy so I geared up for some house projects instead...actually the weather turned out pretty nice (lying weather man) but that is ok..wife asked me what I wanted to cook for FD dinner (woman after my own heart) I gave her a choice of tacos or burgers so we made tacos(Tony's taco posts have been killing me lately)..ran out of my go to carne asada seasoning so I tried some stuff I found at Costco...along with beer, EVOO, onion, cliantro and lemon..soaked some flank for lots of hours!
Later I dusted off my red head and let her take in some sun shine while I worked on a few margaritas!!
Made some refried pintos..(Tony these were the blue can bushes pintos which I wasn't real thrilled about)
Beans got done so I added the flap meat for a quick sear over some pecan and kingsford!
Added some white corn tortillas and it was time to eat!
All plated up..beans and rice..fresh pico..yum my fav!!
