Thanks again everyone!
Up to $710 this morning.
It appears someone is trying to cash in with a very deceptive listing for an original ash pan and 3 thumb screws for a "Glen Blue" kettle.
They ran it twice, and got buy it now sales, apparently the buyers jumped the gun without reading what they were actually buying.
The seller even used my title almost word for word, only leaving off the word baby.

Relisted now with a better title, but still showing a pristine Glen Blue.

This kind of stuff is what turns folks off about eBay.
My description clearly states that the ash pan and two legs screws are not original.
You know you've covered your description pretty well when there are no questions asked of the seller about the item.![]()
Yes, with ice cream!Bob, if it tops $2000.00, are you going to treat us to some levee-high apple pie at the Blue Owl?![]()
Thanks Bob!Hey Bob, Good luck with the auction. I think it will go north of $1000. I'll be tuning into the last five minutes. That's when it gets fun.
That's an awesome sale, Bob. Congrats. Now you can go get that WSCG.![]()
How many of us seriously think that will ever be cooked on again by the new owner? Certainly it's a collector.
