We had our burger night last night. Just started building and couldn't stop.

We're away from home and realized I'd forgetting my CI Pan. All I had was my CI Dish so used that to cook some of the toppings. Had to do it on the grill you know. Here's the stuff.

Burger is 80/20

Cheese is Deli Swiss

Won't find many of my burger cooks without these.

Getting 'er built.

Beautiful burgers and tasty lookin' tots, Cliff! Would love a plate of that right about now.

Not only was that a fun cook, I bet that was a fun eats. Excellent Burger(s) Cliff

I like your simple burgers that looks delicious. You can always send one this way, I'd be happy to take it off your hands.

Nice job on the burgers! Bet that was indeed "good eats"!

We had burger night last night as well. Ours were not ground beef though. I used pork loin that I ground up myself with raw bacon to add fat and flavor to it. If you haven't ground beef or pork together with bacon, you have to try it. The entire burger will taste like bacon and there's no need to salt the meat at all. We just seasoned ours with fresh ground black pepper and garlic powder (I also put cajun spice mix on mine). Toppings included whole canned anahiem chilies, fried onions, and melted cheddar cheese. We always use Ciabatta buns toasted on the Genesis.

Haven't used Swiss Cheese on our burgers but will have to try that.

Usually do burgers every couple weeks. Grinding your own meat is more expensive than the store bought stuff but it tastes SO MUCH better! That and it is safer since you know exactly what is going into the grinder so it is more than worth it IMO.
