Four salt/sugar/water brined boneless-skinless chicken breasts.
On two of them I used this steak rub from a local grocery chain:
The other two, for my wife, with regular Mrs Dash.
Must be the 'beef powder' that turned nearly black with the steak rub.
Fire in the hole.
Nice little peppery/spicy kick to my tasty 'steak' bird, and Jo Anne gave two thumbs up on her Mrs Dash version.
A little research shows that the steak rub is most likely a re-brand of Adams, it has the same ingredient list.
Had to inform Jo, already at work, that she took a piece of my 'spicy' for her lunch today instead of her Mrs Dash.
