Spinning #1 on the Blackstone Patio Oven.

Pizza #1 was a lot of work: home-made Hatch chili enchilada sauce, chorizo (pre-cooked & drained), Hatch mild chilis (roasted in oil, stemmed, seeded & sliced in strips), chunks of queso quesadilla, black olives & avocado slices. Served with dollops of sour cream (not shown). Well worth the effort. Spicy!!!

Pizza #2: Store bought pizza sauce, grated Asiago, Mozz chunks, 3 olives (black, Kalamata & stuffed green/jalapenos), red bell strips & basil pesto.

What can I say? More is more. Crusts were home-made.
Have enough enchilada sauce left over for some...... enchiladas!

You are making some seriously good looking south of the boarder pizzas Robert. I guess you have to drink milk with those, not beer :)

They both look terrific Robert but if I had to choose one of the two I'd take number one with that Hatch Chili Enchilada sauce! I can see a ton of prep work in both. Very nice.

Nice looking pies Robert. That looks too easy. I'm going to keep challenging myself with the Kettle Pizza contraption for now.

This is what became of the leftover enchilada sauce:

I'm going to shed some tears when the Hatch harvest ends in a while.
I'm sure my wife won't.

This is my first "Hatch Harvest" year, and I'm loving it. You should have seen me at Sprouts this past weekend. I dumped out all the bags they had of Hatch Chilies, and made my own bag of the best of the best. They went down 10 cents per pound too, now 77 cents

That's what I do, otherwise you'll get some rotters &/or more than what you need.

fwiw - I do that with all their "little baggies" - have never had a problem at checkout. Things like baby potatoes, Brussels sprouts, grapes, cherries & etc

Oh good, it's not just me. :) I don't get any funny looks from the employees, but I had a patron chew me out for doing it. She didn't like me touching the food. I said: "You don't like me touching the food, you should have seen the guy who picked it, and the guy who took it out of the box and put it in the bags." I got a blank stare in return...
