Hello everyone,

I would like to start with a huge thanks to the entire TVWBB.com community who has helped me through my many Weber related projects either directly or indirectly. The amount of information and pure genius on this forum is unbelievable. So here it is in all it's glory. I still have a few things to modify to my liking but I already used the Mini with very nice results. I swear the pictures do not do the Mini or food justice.

Thank you all for the compliments. Had a lot of fun making it and it's basically a no brainer because of how well it works.

I am uploading some action photos at the moment.

Memorial Day first rib smoke

So I finally put my Mini WSM to the test....my first ribs smoke.

I picked up baby back (4.5lbs) and regular st. louis style ribs (7.5lbs).

I smoked using 3 applewood chunks using the minion method with Kingsford charcoal. I utilized the 3-2-1 method on the st. louis and a 2-1-1 on the baby backs with apple juice/brown sugar/honey foil wrap on each for an hour.

I have a wicked sinus infection and could not taste the ribs at all! So my family members and friends spoke volumes when they cleared the large platter in short time.

Here are the pics:

Great looking cook, and a very neat and tidy build Dan, congratulations.

What fitting did you use for your temperature probe port?

I used the overhead lighting fixture threaded tubing that I read about on here a while back. It was a 6 or 7 pack...I only used the smallest tube. The rest of the pack is in my tool box.

Thanks Dan, found the reference in ChadRex's supply list sticky.

Just gotta find a nearby Home Depot now......
