...there is too!
it's the RICE, Jim... Bud is Famous for their RICE.Budweiser cleans me right out!
Rumor only, but I've heard that AB Inbev is going to replace corn syrup with rice for Miller's adjunct once they take over SABMiller.
Just kidding!
Hate seeing beer or anything else monopolized, more so when it's by other countries.
Love 'em, or hate 'em, hope they stay separate companies.
disclaimer, once a big beer drinker, mostly a bourbon drinker now.

Actually since Budweiser is officially an Austrian beer since their buyout, a couple of guys from the St Louis area started an American made and owned beer called American Patriot. It is on a very small scale, and is produced in the old Old Style facility in La Crosse WI, then shipped through WI to the St Louis area for sale. It is also sold in southern IL. They are small enough that Inbev is not too worried about them. I'd like to try one, but the ride to Edwardsville closest I can buy it, from the Chicago area, just for a beer? Then again, I used to drive to KC to fill my car with Coors when I was 19, and a much longer trip.
