Leftover brisket tacos on homemade flour tortillas.

I decided to make some homemade flour tortillas last night to make some tacos with the leftover brisket.

The dough. I used olive oil this time. It's hard to find good lard. The stuff in the store at the grocery store is as bad as crisco

Rolled out the first one.

Cooked in the cast iron skillet.

Finished torillas.

Brisket tacos with sour cream, guacamole, queso, salsa, etc.

That's just plain MEAN, Dustin. That looks really good.

I've tried to make scratch flour tortillas and haven't had much success. I made some scratch flatbread yesterday with better success than ever before, might have to try again now, seeing this.

Some sliced brisket, grated extra sharp cheddar, some scrambled eggs, and a little No. 5 sauce......

That looks great Dustin, great use of the leftover brisket and homemade tortillas take up another notch.

Mighty fine tacos you made right there. I'm sure the tortillas really added that special something.

This is one type of taco i have yet to eat, but I would love about 4 of those to start with, great looking plate. The Brisket looks to be cooked perfectly.
