Late entry with the Charbroil Big Easy

I set up the Charbroil Big Easy Oil-Less Turkey Fryer on Thanksgiving afternoon at halftime of the Bear’s game. It’s basically an outdoor air fryer that runs on propane.

I dry brined a 12.17 pound turkey overnight with kosher salt, black pepper, rosemary, thyme, sage, and garlic powder.

2 hours and 15 minutes in the Big Easy and it was ready.

Served with the usual sides of mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, corn off the cob, and stuffing. This year we used Case’s muffin cups for the stuffing!

It was just the two of us this year and we had plenty of leftovers which we planned for and enjoyed. Thanks for looking!

I like the giant propane air fryer!
As much as I might want one, I am not sure my wife would be pleased with the purchase. Now I want a big fry fest! Fresh chips, sweet potato fries, fried dill pickle spears, perch, bluegill, shrimp, mushrooms, oh and a turkey!

I may need to get one of these too. I mean just as a backup in case of a power outage or so. Yeah thats the ticket.
I see two plates there. Hope you ordered some pizzas too /s

Used this for the first time today at the in-laws. Fresh Market turkey brined 24 hrs, dried out overnight, butter creole injected, and finally butter herb rubbed before I shoved the 20lb bird into cooker. 4 hrs later I got the best turkey in my life.

Will definitely do this again.

James I have never seen this type of cooker before, but your results are amazing, the seasonings, the color, and,and the table shots . One great well put together meal.

Your turkey looks great! Love that crispy skin.

I fixed our turkey in The Big Easy too - but as usual, no pics.
