last grilling of 2013 and first low n slow for 2014

We quit going out for New Year's Eve unless we stay at the hotel a long time ago. So last night we had a slumber party, a few fire works, and watched the ball drop with some of my favorite people. I did some chicken lollipops dusted with BBQ 3000, venison/beef meatballs, among other kid friendly party fare. Then placed a small boneless butt (that kinda transformed into a weird shape) on the smoker for a low n slow overnighter for the pork, black-eyed peas, cabbage (under the butt this AM) for our traditional New Year's Day lunch.
