Labor Day old school style

Here's our entry. Bacon wrapped sausages.

Started with some refreshments.



Did the fire old school style. I recently bought a performer on CL. The guy gave me lighter fluid. So used on my lump charcoal.



Sausages wrapped in bacon and onions are chopped





Indirect cook



Did a final sear over the fire.





Here it is plated with bbq beans and potatoe salad.

Nice plate there Tony, perfect meal for labor Day! Great Texaco fire trick to light the coals, sure hope the food didn't taste like you licked the dip stick of your truck:D

I reminiscing how my dad and uncles would start their fires sometimes when I was a kid. Food was great. :)
 
Now those are some sausage sandwiches that mean business! And I'm glad to see two sandwiches on the plated shot, as I wouldn't be satisfied eating just one.
