Korean Ribs

I went with a very simple marinade that was amazing on chicken thighs. Equal parts soy sauce, sugar and water. I also added some red pepper flakes. I heated up this combination to help dissolve the sugar. I did a 1/1.5/1 at about 300.

I marinated some BB's overnight.

I cooked them on the Performer, this was after 1 hour, at this point I foiled them.

Lily loves the Performer.

After 1.5 hours I removed from the foil and they looked like this.

This is after another hour with a couple of bastes with the sauce.

Plated.

They were fall off the bone tender.

These were tender and tasty. Thanks for looking.

Those are great looking ribs Pat. Looks like your sous chef kept a close eye on the grill for you.

Nice looking ribs. I've been looking for a good Asian-style rib recipe. This sounds good, and simple to boot.

그 갈비뼈가 슈퍼 보인다!
geu galbippyeoga syupeo boinda!

What did you use for the BBQ sauce?

Superb looking ribs Pat. Going to give them a try one of these days. Hope they come out a nice as yours. Beautiful Performer! Lilly is a cutie.

I want to know where Lily is?
(Admittedly, those ribs do look a tad big to come from such a small pooch).
Grate cook Pat. I like the sound of that marinade.

I like what I see, Pat! Nice fusion of an Asian style marinade with a traditional American BBQ pork cut.
