To be honest thinner is better for grilling not sure it has as much impact in a smoker. Maillard reaction is better with thinner rod vs thick. Fancy lines vs more flavor. I want flavor.

A restaurant I love became the 2nd ranked restaurant on Yelp during the pandemic and I watched them use that Mesquite lump I picked up at Lazzari’s, honestly their flavor was insane and I feel like I’m getting much better grilled results with charcoal.
I have plenty of time for both the kettle and the SmokeFire.
I love being outside cooking.

Nope. I have Hunsaker and won't touch a KG for what they cost vs what I get for $59 delivered from Hunsaker.

Pre COVID situation there was never a problem for me to get items for bbq or my vinyl from the states.
Things have changed and I really don't understand why.
I don't want to put another Weber grate in there if I am going to get the same outcome as the one I have now.
I have had it for 8 months.....looks bronzy and gets rust in places, it does clean up for the most part...I am trying to keep it oiled for now but do need another soon.

The thick SS rods can take the heat from a Vortex no problem....you won't see them wear down like a standard Weber grate.

It does offer it to me in Canadian dollars, so I would like to believe it is possible although probably cannot find out 100% without signing up and going through with all the steps to make sure, kind of lik eon their website.
The down side, very down side of all this is.....
Price on this grill is $123.13 CAD.
Shipping on this grill is an additional $92.28 Canadian dollars.
I don't know how they know without my address but this is what it says on the for sale screen.
