Kettle Pizza

I recently acquired a 22" kettle to use for the Kettle Pizza attachment. I was tired of removing the bale on my Performer so the plastic rollers would not melt. My 8 year old daughter helped with the prep work. Made the dough using Tyler Florence's recipe. Only a few pics.

Ready to go.

One in the oven.

Pepperoni, ham and pineapple and sausage, shrooms and onions.

These came out great. I also handled the pizza peel much better than the first time I used the Kettle Pizza. Thanks for looking.

What Barb said. My KP is hanging in the garage haven't used it since I sold my extra performer because my only other kettle is my blue performer. Might look for a beater kettle to dedicate the KP to.

Good move with the spare kettle Pat. I remembered to remove the rollers my first couple of pizza cooks but then finally forgot. I just put new rollers on a few months ago. I have another older kettle that is pretty much dedicated to my Mojo Griddle. It weighs a ton and kind of groans each time the griddle settles in on it, but it's better than lifting it in and out of storage. Pies look terrific.

Nice pies, Pat!!! I did the same, and acquired a cheap CL kettle to dedicate as my KP kettle. No sense melting anything on the performer when kettles can be had pretty cheaply on CL if you are patient (sometimes free!!) :)

Great looking pizzas.

OK... I'll bite: "I also handled the pizza peel much better than the first time I used the Kettle Pizza." ???????

I did a much better job getting the pizza from the peel to the stone. Last time I overshot the stone on one of them, it was truly a "Hot Mess". Corn meal, lots of corn meal.
