Yes it is. A 69 vette and a couple 69 mustangs with a tbird in a corner. Wasting space though. The Chevelle is driven a lot. The others are just taking up space. Been trying to get my techstream to work. Will have to keep trying.

Nice grill, but $200 is a bit steep IMO. Usually when they don't show you a photo of the inside of the grill and/or cabinet, there is a reason. Hopefully, being SoCal, it isn't a total rust bucket inside the cabinet.

$200 seems to be the initial ask on every Platinum I’ve seen in the past couple of years. I love the SS Platinums, but I love my deep-box too much to give it up. It gives just the right amount of flare-up.

I have purchased three of the SS Platinums so far and all three were for under $100. $50, $40 and I don't remember the other one, but I think it was $75. But inevitably, they all have the bottom cabinet pan completely rusted out which detracts greatly from their value and makes it easier to find them for a decent price around me. Of course, I have seen my share of $200 plus ones as well. I would suspect those grills in SoCal fare a bit better with the rust problems.

People seem to be very proud of their used Webers out here. One of the few good “deals” I’ve seen recently is a 2000 redhead missing the left flip up table for $75. The amount of E-3xx series with serious cabinet rust and $300+ asks is incredible.

My neighbor is putting his house up for sale soon. He was decluttering his basement....brought me a couple gifts since he knows I'm into fixing up grills.

18" WSM and a red head genny (minus the frame)

WSM needs a really good cleaning and new grate. Red head is just a parts grill, but did notice its a 3 burner with the extra side burner.

HERE'S AN UNUSUAL RESTORE:

I admire the restorer for taking on an unusual project and giving it a unique flare.

:unsure:It appears to be set up as a charcoal grill, but from where does it draw air into the fire?
Yeah. The devil is in the details, for sure. Hmmm...I don't think I see any vents, either. Not going to work out so well. I was just impressed that he tackled a grill most would just toss. It's just like George Stephen's neighbor said across the fence when he was first experimenting with his bouy turned kettle grill, "Hey George, you need to poke some holes in that thing so the fire can get air!":george: The rest is history:coolkettle:
