I will just leave this here

It has no cart and that's a big negative but it looks like it could be lightly used and in nice condition. Hard to say for sure without a look inside but the outside looks pretty clean as far as condition. Finding a cart is possible but im probably gonna pass on this one for that reason.

This 6 burner would probably be a better pick- up put not really wanting a 6 burner or SS lid.

An open cart 425 green lid would probably be my 1st choice.

Might be a solid candidate for a parts grill if you were interested in restoring one of these. Maybe the climate in AZ is easier on the cook boxes in these things.

In order to be interested in one of these for restoration I'd have to find one that's been in dry storage with very little use. I'd want to apply Jon's fix to a cookbox that isn't rotten and most everything else is in excellent condition. If I come across one like that great and if I don't that's ok too. I have lots of future projects I'm happy with so I'm not hurting.

You don't have to explain yourself to me, I get it. The only way I would want to take one of those on is to find one that's been sitting inside and unused for the last twenty years or more.

I think Larry would agree that the one I bought from him got plenty of use and later sat outside in his yard and then mine. Nonetheless, it cleaned up amazingly well.

These are special grills in my opinion from the last days Weber was still totally the real deal. I think even a mediocre one would be worth the effort.

I agree Jon! I think it would definitely be more than worth the effort. That grill you have there is a stand out, legend, icon, classic
