I will just leave this here

When I did them, I always put a stainless steel or brass washer between the frame rail and fire box. Stopping the galvanic corrosion and with the help of a stainless bolt even better

Interesting.
I believe you Steve

Quick comment. I never tried these in a grill, but I pulled out a set and found the ones that I bought, at least, to be the exact same size as the set of Dave Santana's I have in my Skyline sitting in my garage unused.

The OnlyFire flavorizers that I bought (still in plastic in above pics) weigh in about 70% of the weight of Dave's. Unlike Dave's, they are strongly magnetic, hopefully at least 430 stainless. How much can you expect for 10 bucks!!!

There should be NO problem with a regular SS washer.

If I am thinking straight this morning, I don't think even a 2" thick washer between the cook box and frame would change how far the valves stick into the burners.

See, here I was thinking it shifts the whole cook box when the manifold is bolted to it so that distance cant change... now I feel like an idiot :ROFLMAO: :poop:

Thank you for that comparison Jon I appreciate it.

Just picked up this Genesis ii S335. Special edition I believe offer exclusively through Costco with the back lit knobs, i-grill, 4 meat probes. It also came with a new Weber rotisserie, Weber cover, Weber 3 ring binder and of course as usual a full tank of propane. It also came with a SS thing that I can only guess is for 2 beer can chickens.

The last one of these I flipped was one of my best profiting grills but that one was free. I paid $200 for this one. Should still bring a good profit after I clean it up. It's already pretty clean and in great condition.

Isn't that the grill the Ewings had on the 80s Dallas TV show? Seems like I saw one for sale once before that made a big deal about that.
