Well......
I don't have a response for that lol.

Yes they do work fairly well though, still not as well as the original CI ones. Honestly when I do use the Q for actual "grilling" that I want to look and taste well grilled, I throw the CI grates on it. Although I now with the Ninja I don't even bother with the Q anymore.I was all for the ss route when I got my first Q. But after use and understanding the rationale of the ci from Larry and others, I quickly learned that ci grates are best. Of course Bruce and Larry have old ss grates that work well but are no longer available. I keep em well lubed-but have also had some good luck using a Yoshi copper mat-it actually works!
Poor forgotten Q! Well, I actually have gotten in on the Ninja myself, although just a "plain" smaller one. I have already done some burgers (great to easily add some smoke when I am cooking just for me) and used the air fry function to make some Chick-Fil-A knock-off nuggets from Sams (in FIVE minutes) for my son and me when my wife and her aunt were experimenting with something that didn't look good to either of us. Both the burgers and the nuggets came out very well, although I overdid the first round of burgers and have much to learn. I am looking forward to trying some more healthy options like chicken breast.Yes they do work fairly well though, still not as well as the original CI ones. In my later years in life, I have gotten to the point where I try very hard to keep from trying get people to do what I think is best. It is something that I wish I had learned earlier in life.
Yep, guilty as charged. I was one of the biggest skeptics of the Ninja Woodfire series. Checked out Tom's video again, and a few more. And placed the thoughts on the "back burner". Then I had a literally brand new one pop up on FB Marketplace. And made arrangements with the seller to meet. At the time (given the prices of them then) it was too cheap to pass up. And pulled the trigger. Fully expecting it would be "ho hum" type experience. But, it totally caught me off guardPoor forgotten Q! WHAT A DIFFERENCE TWO YEARS MAKES:
Larry, do you remember your first reaction to the Ninja Woodfire?

I was pretty skeptical as well, but not any longer.
You're probably not wrong Bruce LOLSomething tells me that if you clear out a few of those, others will show up to take their place in short order.
Just a heads up to anyone that may have ordered these igniters from Amazon that I posted on sale. I ordered two of them and one of them showed up without the nut and one of them showed up without the washer. So clearly somebody purchased a bunch of these to take the hardware out and then return them. I hope it wasn't someone from here. I'm keeping mine anyways because I have plenty of nuts and washers around that I can use but if you don't you may want to return them.Weber brand igniter

I feel the accuracy of this statement... I have one sold, delivering Thursday, and taking one with me from the delivery. And picked that one up earlier todaySomething tells me that if you clear out a few of those, others will show up to take their place in short order.
