Absolutely I think an 8-inch would probably be plenty. Plus the bigger you go the more power it needs to turn the bigger WheelsYah, it looks like a beast. And I think "Buffalo" was a big name for HD tools back in the day. I don't really need 10", but a good 8" with a better motor would be real nice.
Larry you already know I'm going to restore this and make it look fantastic and mount it next to my 100-year-old bench viseThat'll do a number on the interior. And hey Josh with all those profits from the grills you need to turn that into a a brand new toolCommon, let those moths out of the wallet

If that's what you mean by new. If you mean brand new. If you mean I should go out and buy a brand new one. I would but they just don't make stuff like they used to

This one wasn't too bad. It was dirty but decent condition. I decided to put some new SS flavorizer bars in for $10.99 but the factory grates were in surprisingly good condition along with everything else. I'm happy so far. No unwanted surprises. Never know exactly what to expect when picking them up for flips.Amazing as always Josh. I guess those biceps come in handy with that grinder.
It just depends on the level of restoration. It's different for every grill. I just assess and decide what level of work to put in based on projected return on investment depending on what model and condition etc....Sounds good.
Do you do all that grinding work and other work without actually dissassembling the grill (i.e. removing the cook box)?
Can you post a link once you get it posted.
I posted in 4 places here is my FB listing. I hate FB and only made this pictureless account for market place. I should probably make it more personable for sales purpose. I have done most sales on OfferUp but FB is taking the lead. Can you post a link once you get it posted.
Excellent ad, Josh! I love that burner pic. And, of course, beautiful restore - like all of yours.I posted in 4 places here is my FB listing. Thanks Jon! I have removed that inner liner before also if it's in bad shape.Excellent ad, Josh! I love that burner pic. And, of course, beautiful restore - like all of yours.
I have never seen anyone successfully do anything with one of those inner heat shields before. Of course, some of the old one I have gotten don't have enough metal left to grind down to! You made yours pop!
I use my last name but not my first name. I should probably at least make a profile pic. sometimes when people question my account I send them a link to my OfferUpJosh, my FB page is very spartan as well. I use it only for FB MP and don't really use the social media part. I don't like putting a lot of personal info out there. But, I think doing so sometimes might cost confidence in potential buyers.
I don't even use my real name on my FB page.
I do free delivery and pickup but I've reduced my radius to 25 miles. With everything so expensive now (including electricity LOL) I'll broaden the range but for a fee. I used to go 50 miles radius but no moreI decided to try offering free delivery within reasonable distance. I haven't put that on my listings before so we'll see how that goes.
