If it was profitable I would make wood slat packages. Obviously no profit or break even there
Yeah I wouldn't be interested in thatYah, a guy with a good table saw and planer could churn out a whole bunch of perfect slats pretty easily. I would think you could do it with something like cedar fairly cost effective, but shipping is always the stick in the mud.
Those look like a helluva cookerHoly buckets is this thing huge. $1500

I gotta be honest…I think my Vieluxe is one of the worst cookers in my arsenal. It’s not that it’s bad. I just find it to be average at best. Maybe it’s operator error and I just need to get it hotter before adding the food based solely on the mass of the thing. All I know for certain is that I consistently turn out better food on my other toys (13 bar 1000 series, Platinum C, front control Spirit E-310, and Q) for whatever reason. Some might call it blasphemous, but I actually prefer cooking on my Q3200 more than anything else. Those look like a helluva cooker
Probably weighs close to the same.Looks like the control panel of Apollo 11
The 3200 does look like a nice cooker. Just grabbed one for free to rehab and flip. Hopefully I don't decide to keep itI gotta be honest…I think my Vieluxe is one of the worst cookers in my arsenal. Looks like it goes all the way through and you could put a hitch on the outside of it and haul a trailer with the barbecue in between the truck and the trailer. I'm definitely not saying thats safe lolWouldn't you want the hitch in the back ?
Well I guess I'll have to think of something else to give you for Christmas thenI don't see the point in those grills, but if I did one, it would be Q3xxx on a fabbed steel frame. But, I just cannot see the benefit of having the grill on the hitch rather than sitting on the ground and able to be moved around.
I would think a better design would be one that swings out, so the firebox is away from the tailgate. I cannot see how the one you posted would be safe for the paint job on any truck.
In case anyone is looking for a $2,000 bargain on a $13,000 FireMagic grill...
