Maybe the stieves from the aging barrels….White oak would be a good replacement for the existing wood

The grill belongs to a brother of my buddy that used to work for Weber. I'm going to try and get the story on it, may go get it. It at least has some good parts on it.Yep, never saw that lid/logo before. It would be fun to have to put on a special rehab.
The pic is playing tricks with my eyes. I can’t figure out if it’s a black or a dark green lid.Has anybody seen one like this before? View attachment 83608
As much as I like the green lids, this just doesn’t seem like a good pairing. Black and Jack just belong together, right?!Thats green. I haven’t seen a gas grill with a logo that is black.
Skyline. But I don't recall having seen a black one with a company logo either.Thats green. I haven’t seen a gas grill with a logo that is black.
All true. I thought the doors could be adjusted on these? And I thought the door was simply slightly open on this exampleLid is not original, it has the dropsies bad and the bottom panel in the cabinet has been removed and replaced. Still, the core grill is a great one. But not at $200.
By "Dropsies", I was referring to the side tables. On the platinum SS grills, the welds in the frame extensions almost always break which lends to them sagging down.
