I will just leave this here

Another nice late Silver already decked out with black trim and even a pin stripe! These were the last gasp of Weber trying to keep the classic design relevant. Too much competition from cheap, larger grills resulted in Weber "supersizing" and making the 300 series grills look bigger than they actually are. In the process, those really handy flip up tables left for good.

So, what is the "Escher Edition?"

To me anyway, it looks like the caster legs are holding up the swing-up table. The control panel side also has some funky alignment with the stair in the background.
Sorry for my ignorance! Yes, the perspective on that photo is very odd and does look reminiscent of his drawings. I have seen some of his work, but didn't remember the name.

I don't think there is anything up with that grill, it is just the perfect, weird angle the photo was taken from.

For the collectible crowd, a 500 marked up a bit.

Another ad from the same seller, who states "I am the only one restoring grills to as new condition."

Coke memorabilia was huge a decade a go. Not sure about now. Either way, that grill is priced a good $2500 over what he can really expect to get....IMO.

I doubt that guy is a forum member.

I wouldn't say that his look to be "restored to as new condition." The Coke one doesn't even have new white wheel inserts and the inside of the firebox on the other one hasn't been cleaned as well as many of the forum members posted restorations. Just my observations.

I certainly wouldn't call what this guy does "restoration" I think we are all at least capable of ordering new burner tubes, flavorizer bars, and grates. He doesn't even bother to clean them properly.

How about the nerve of that guy. LOLOL!!

This is your one shot in your lifetime at a chance of owning an all original 1966 GTO in excellent condition.

:D

Not exactly a 66 goat in excellent condition.
More like a '82 Citation, after Dad drove it to work for 6 years
and his daughter drove it all thru high school and decided to
shine it up and post for sale in the Autotrader in '92.

Yeah, that guy is not short on ego anyway! Always glad to see someone who loves Weber grills and certainly seeing old ones spared from the scrap pile. A couple doses of modesty might be a big help, though.

I can't tell. But is this cart one of those old weber Deville or Seville type grill carts?
