Almost forgot about the mosquito trucks that drove around my town on summer nights spraying for mosquitos. I don't know if they were still using DDT then or not.

Definitely has flaws, but for $100 I think it would still be worth it as a candidate to restore. These old SSPs are getting rarer, just like the old classic Genesis grills they resemble.View attachment 67352

I actually have one of those fully disassembled and begging for me to do something with it. Mine is short some of those cast iron grates. They are not the size Broilmaster makes now, so they are a tough find. I would be tempted myself, just to get enough parts to make one complete one. The rotisserie and grates are worth that price alone.
The sad thing is that even a super unique old Broilmaster like this is a tough sell. I don't know if it would make enough difference if it were fully restored.

Worth $40? Rust on lid, igniter not working. Needs a good cleaning and some hardware replaced, bottom rack going to need some attention.
