Well, judging by the soot on the front of the lid it's going to need a new cookbox at least. Free is the best possible starting point for that grill. The good news is it's new enough to be able to purchase replacement parts if you want to go down that road. I would be tempted.
They sell these at MenardsLooks like a pretty nice grill in it's prime. I think that IR side burner sear station was maybe a great idea.

Those actually seem pretty decent for the $$$$I never really check the grills out at Menards since they don't carry Weber or any other quality brand that I recognize. I will look next time I am there.
All true but most of the generic, universal, adjustable, burners and flame tamers and igniters are available either from Amazon or often in the retail stores you named. So if the firebox and frame are robust enough, you can keep those grills going for years with some basic maintenance. Replacement ceramic IR burners might be more of a challenge to locate though. You can buy those monument grills pretty much everywhere, home depot, Lowe's, Walmart. I don't know if you can see one on display in all those places, but they sell them. At first glance they look very similar to the newer Weber grills and are reasonably priced. As with all those off brand grills, I would be concerned with customer support and parts availability 5 or 6 years down the line.
That would make it geographically undesirable for me as well.Good thing it's nearly three hours away or I might take a look.
