I will just leave this here

A TALE OF TWO SILVER Cs...

These are both listed on FB Marketplace in my general area:

This one has been listed for quite a while with no movement:

Or you could get this one:

Roy, I have seen several new in box Genesis grills posted on here. Not a lot, but a few. It makes you wonder why they never wound up using them. There has to be a story behind each one.

I'm wondering if that thing got lost in a time warp.
I would be more excited about a rare gas grill "NIB" if it were something with a little more pizazz. A nice redhead, a Skyline, even maybe a last year Silver. That one is amazing but from the more bland era where Weber was making the journey from the classic wood slat grills to the modern look of the last Silvers. Nothing wrong with it at all. In fact, I would think it IS pretty cool if it had a a blue hood, or some other color.

Looks like the $5 one has a maroon hood, which would be pretty cool. Can't be sure, especially after that color blindness test!

Maybe I should go straight for divorce court and buy both, clean up the maroon hood insert and swap it out onto the unused grill :coolkettle: .

May as well drive to Minnesota and pick up the Vieluxe too. 😟

After a lot of head scratching, back and forth on this forum in several threads, I fired up my rotisserie burner on the Summit Platinum today. To my amazement, it now stays lit, only difference being that now it’s winter, and a new lid, thoughts?

There's this.

The price is right, I guess. If anyone has a use for cheap scrap metal.
I don't know anything about those grills but that looks like a quality grill. Looks fullly stainless, has the IR roto burner. It might simply need a new lid.
