I wonder if even your friends at IPE could rescue that one.
If the metal is thick enough, I am sure they could.
But that is some serious re-estate to cover.

yes it is smaller - think 2 burner spirit sizeI think the seller may be overestimating the value and rarity of the blue lid...but maybe not. I like the color, too, but just for clarity the lid from a Silver A is smaller than any other vintage Genesis lid, right?
Let's see if it sells.
Which prevents a buyer (certainly not me!) from buying it just for the blue lid.yes it is smaller - think 2 burner spirit size
Ed you would would have some more $$ if you sold most of the grills in your signature;-) Just different priorities.Which prevents a buyer (certainly not me!) from buying it just for the blue lid.
Just for a fun fact, a home in Berkeley, CA, just sold for $1,000,000.00 ($1 Million) over asking price. Lots of money in this state...how come I don't have any?

The three-bedroom, two-bathroom property comes with “incredible views” and a “big, flat level lawn” — a rare combination in Berkeley, Carrigan said.www.wfla.com
You do have an impressive collection. I have made a commitment to my self not to be a collector of anything. My mom collected stuff. Our garage was so full when I was a kid, that when I purchased a dirt bike and hid it under the stuff in the garage. My mom did not find it for 6 months. I had a 72 Chevelle SS in college and the clutch went out around new years (very cold NJ winter) and my parents were away. I needed the garage, so I gave every thing away to charities. Hung a big shelf in the back of the garage for snow tires and such, and replaced my clutch and throw out bearing. My mom came home and screamed my name at the top of her lungs followed by "Where is all my stuff". I said tell me what your missing and I will replace it. No answer. When I came back for spring break they had an electric garage door opener and my mom kept her car in the garage until she moved. But Joe, they are so purty! I especially like the porcelain on the older Gennies...they are more of a pastel color, for lack of a better term. I've got an early burgundy and a later burgundy...the early one tends to look more pink than the later color, which is a deeper color and changes color depending on the lighting. And I have an early redhead that just pops for some reason. And then there's the early brown that was one of the colors that was dropped early on...and the Silver C with all the tables (added tables not shown below, but added RH side from a Gold) and is only an inch taller but feels so much more...substantial...than the early ones. Now how could I part with any of them? And with attrition, rehabbers, and Weber aficionados driving up prices, who knows what they will be worth down the road? It's an investment, as I tell the wife...like putting money in the bank.
That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

A rare Van Gogh painting was sold at auction a few days ago for $15.4M. It had been in a private collection for over 100 years. I'm that guy...and your the guy that inherited it and sold it.You do have an impressive collection. I have made a commitment to my self not to be a collector of anything. My mom collected stuff. I also collected pennies, stamps, my grandfathers cigar bands, etc. After having that stuff for almost 40 years and moving it from home to home, I sold it, and never got more than much over what I spent. My wife and I do not want my son to deal with a lot of "stuff" when we croak. Rather get rid of it now and have $ in the bank. We lived on a sail boat for a few years after selling our last house and it was quite freeing to get rid of so much stuff.
Your grills are nice but I would pick the gold with the cabinet and let others enjoy the rest. Plus who wants to clean all those grills.
No fooling. If it were a 3-burner I wouldn't expect it to last a week. A smaller 2-burner may take a little more time.$400 for an unrestored blue Silver A with no internal pics.
