Friday night I put a pineapple on the spinner

I left one fork on in case the pineapple starting slipping, which it didn't
Time for a brew

A good brew, trying to keep with the theme of the evening.
Thursday night I broke down some thighs and put them in the following marinade
.5 cup soy sauce
.5 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/3 cup fresh-squeezed lime juice
.5 tsp Tabsco sauce
.5 tsp paprika
2 Tbsp finely chopped garlic
I let the thighs bathe for about 20 hours
Pineapple still spinning....time for brew 2

Appreciate those Costco variety packs
I gave the pineapple a 20 minute head start, I would guess that the grill was at 300, I don't have a dome thermostat on the old performer

After being on the spinner for about 45 minutes, still very juicy and very tender, we were able to eat every part of the fruit even the core.

Thighs going on the CI grates

I reserved some of the marinade and used it for basting

Plated with brew number three, you can see what is all there

Every thing was delicious, the chicken was a little one note, the soy sauce really took over and not much heat. I would probably tweek the marinade less soy sauce, more lime juice and more hot sauce.
The chicken was moist though

Plenty of leftovers and this is what I see in my lunch.....bun, slaw, chicken, pineapple, bun.
Wishing all a safe, fun and delicious weekend.
