home depot mem day sale

Yah, I like the Weber briquettes for low and slow...if I'm just going to do normal grilling then I'll use KBB or Royal Oak because I don't want to waste the Weber briquettes.

Sam that is how I use mine, save it for my longer cooks and I use KBB for shorter cooks, but if I could get it for Bobo free at $15 this weekend I think I would be using Weber for more cooks!

No sales flyers online ... Guess I'll have to drive up and check it out. I imagine it's going to be very crowded at both Lowe's and Home Depot this weekend.

I have had enough truly miserable customer service issues with “Hopelessly Disappointing” stores and phone support that I would not enter the place if they were giving away a Smoke Fire and all the pellets for a lifetime!
Apparently, the “embers” charcoal isn’t anything to write home about so, not missing anything there.
Sadly I agree, we may never see the $10.00 double 20’s again but, I have found that I have been wrong in the past, well once...
Have a great day!

I plugged my California zip code into the Blain's Farm and Fleet store finder. Cedar Falls, Iowa is the closest store. 🤦‍♂️

Just got back from my Home Depot run (Thursday 5/21, 11:00am, San Diego)

No sale on Kingsford or any charcoal. They have the KIngsford 20lb twin pak for $19.88 in stock, so I got one. The Ember twin pak was the 'usual' 14.98, so I just skipped that.

Weber wood chunks are 6.98 vs 8.97 for the Kingsford equivalent (by volume).

The line was pretty long for checkout; probably 15 minutes.

I may check back next week to see if they lower the price to reduce inventory, but I'm not going back this weekend even if they drop the price. What's the point of burning weekend time to get charcoal? That's the time to be cooking not standing in line.

Hope everyone's weekend will be a good one!

Thanks for the update. Doesn't sound like many have good deals on charcoal this Memorial Day. Kroger seems to have the best deal at $6.xx / bag for Kingsford.

Just bought 20 bags of Weber for $149.90 + $8.15 for no good reason at all.
Not the Weber charcoal, the $8.15

Tim,
I went to farm and fleet website today and started to get excited the bogo free deal was online too... until I looked at shipping, $90 for 10 bags of charcoal.
