Holy Mackerel! Lots of Alder smoked fish here!!!!!

A good friend of mine from work, went to the store over the weekend, he picked up a variety of fish, to smoke, using alder wood. Salmon, Mackerel, and some Milk fish. Brined 24 hrs, using a brine mix from Bass Pro Shop. Used Mesquite lump charcoal for fuel, alder wood chips, for the smoke. Took a little over an hr, to complete the smoking process. He kindly forwarded me the pictures, he's not a member here, but, I thought I'd share them with you. He told me the fish came out great! Very tasty!!!!!!!

Looks tasty! I bet it was good stuff! I will admit though...the first picture with the fish in the container looks like my bait container on the boat..now I'm ready to go fish!!!

Man that looks good! I still have some smoked salmon left that I caught up your way.

Swim lesson's the other day! Water is 67*, but they don't seem to care!
