High wind warning

Wind has not kicked in here yet, my Genny is fairly well protected, I’m not too worried about it blowing away.
But, the snow has accumulated about a half inch in the last half hour.

-11 F here, with winds kicking up to around 20mph, forecast to get windier overnight. Temp will start rising around 0400.

We're at -7 actual, -32 wind chill. Just checked my HVAC display. Even though the unit that was pulled out was 125k BTU and this one is only 70k, The system is coasting along at only 40% output.

-12 here right now. Wind is kicking up. We are supposed to have 20mph sustained winds today with gusts to 45.
From my days of watching this forum and picking up Webers for rehabbing, I can attest that strapping down a grill in this kind of weather is not "over kill". It is amazing how many grills either get tipped over in place or wind up rolling accross the deck or driveway or patio until they hit a drop off and tumble.

Not sure what happened to this. I can't edit it. But there is supposed to be this photo

Yesterday I put my new extra cheap cover from Amazon on the spirit 700 and secured it tightly with the drawstrings at the bottom
Found it in the bushes this morning
Probably a bad choice, better to get a free one with a donor grill.
Grill didn't move, probably lucky the cover went.

-9 early this morning in Indiana. My friends and family back in Florida are rubbing it in that they are still in the mid 70s🤨.

I grilled last night in roaring wind blowing snow and ice in a balmy 9 degrees. Almost impossible but pretty good for a former Floridian!

The cover was in the bushes? or the whole grill ?
