Happy Easter everyone and what's for dinner?

TVWBB Olympian
We are breaking away from tradition today. DD and family are out of town, so just DH and myself. DH is making us a recipe I found in an old Pillsbury booklet from 1994, their 36th Cooking & Baking contest. The recipe is "Curried Spinach-Filled Chicken Breasts". It's not a grilling recipe (oven), but if anyone wants the recipe, please let me know.

So, what are you doing today?

Barb works until 2 pm then we will be doing a glazed ham, green bean casserole and a yam dish for dinner.
Just the two of us this year. Some will be done on one of the grills the other will be done in the oven.

Trying the “Costco slow cooker ham“ again, it was dead easy (as long as you have a torch) last time and well received. The rest will be: Mashed potatoes, Sweet potato crunch, Sweet corn, Creamed pearl onions, Brussels sprouts, Babka Bunnies, Easter egg hunt cake, and a Bunny marzipan for granddaughter who is not a big cake fan.
Pix may follow, how knows.
Manhattans, Zubrowka, Modelo Negro, and Champagne with dessert.

Joan, these kids are HUGE curry fans, I would love the recipe! Thanks in advance!

Timothy, your dinner sounds FABULOUS!!!!! Hope you get "Pix"!!!!!

I will post the recipe in the chicken site, thanks for asking . Hope it turns out good. lol

As is our tradition, my wife, Miriam, poked a bunch of holes in a New Zealand lamb's hind leg and stuffed them with a bunch of garlic cloves and rosemary yesterday. It's been recovering in the fridge overnight and is scheduled for heat therapy this afternoon. Will be posting pics when it comes out of the fridge, if I remember. Going in the pellet pooper with Pecan scented aroma therapy. Mashed spuds & gravy, asparagus and a green salad to go with. Can't wait for my annual infusion of lamb gravy! Mmmmmmmmmmm.

Thanks Joan, getting the ham in the crockpot was a bit of a challenge (15# was a tight fit), next time I’ll get a slightly smaller ham. I will do my best to get pictures !😉

Doing a 5lb turkey breast spatchcocked on the Performer few chunks of Hickory for smoke. Wife making my favorite stuffing which has pork sausage in it done with soda crackers not the stove top stuff. Mashed potatoes and green beans wrapped with bacon and brown sugar I think not my job on that stuff.

Sounds great Timothy! Put me down for a Manhattan.

I have a rack of lamb I will cut into chops and grill for better surface area grilling rather than leaving it as a whole rack.
