Friday Night Steak

I had a prime NY Strip from Costco in the freezer that I reversed seared on the summit with asparagus. Steak was seasoned with Penzey’s Mitchell St Steak seasoning.

This may have been my best attempt at the reverse sear. It’s cooked to a perfect medium.

Nice job Eric. Looks delicious. My wife and I were talking yesterday about how nice a steak would taste. Haven't grilled in a month due to fire danger and smoke. Hopefully we'll be able to fix that soon.
 
I'll pass on my share of the meat for the fat from everyone else's slice, please.
Luckily for me everyone likes the juicier parts and I like dry. Great for pot roast or overcooked short rib stew. They love it cause they get the juicier sections and i take the dry
