First Time Short Ribs

Have wanted to cook these forever. The Winco in Brentwood didn’t carry them, however the Winco in Redding does, so I finally pulled the trigger. Used “The Blend” for the rub. Smoked them at 250 for 3 hours a then put them in the braise for a tad over 2 hours. Very tender, very tasty. Will definitely do this again. Forgot to snap a photo of the package, it was just under $18 total.

Building a 12x29x9 Arrow carport, got this much of the framing done during the cook

Been meaning to try short ribs for a while, thanks for the inspiration. Perhaps I'll take the plunge soon, but my better half says they look "too fatty".
 
Those look outstanding Chuck! Should have let me know, I can hold the “stupid” end of a construction gig like that with one hand on a beer!
