Ran the grill at 400F for 30 min to burn off bad things on new grates & bars.
Marinated a 1 & 1/2 lb porterhouse in Italian , Lea&Perrins, & a couple splashes liquid smoke.
Fired grill on high , hood temp pegged!
5 min on each side .
Cut filet off for wife , cut strip off & ate part , but main part I wanted was the very meaty bone !

John, that grill looks great, what year is it? Food looks great also. Congrats on a great rehab job.

Your grill is too clean, John! :) Kidding! Kidding! Looks like a bit of work to get that old redhead looking so fine! Oh, and the steak looks killer, too! :)

John that's an awesome steak great job. Love the red head nice job on it and like the idea of using cutting boards on the side. We have a green one just like that, had it since 1999 and still great.

My father-in-law has that model grill and it doesn't look nearly as nice. Great job on the steak...and I understand about the bone!
