As you guys know I love Mr. Wolfe's Orange Marmalade Sriracha Chicken recipe. But I wanted a little different flavor profile for it and tonight I nailed it and want to share. Just me and #3 (the boys) tonight so I kicked up the heat a little.

Variation one, one jar of good marmalade, 1/4 cup of Sriracha and one ripe orange juiced into it along with 2 tbsp honey, simmer for fifteen minutes.

Variation two, allow the sauce to cool down some and in a 1 gallon bag with the cleaned chicken for a few hours in the fridge

Made Red Beans and Rice from Viggo, good chit, on the stove inside and the plates ready. TV dinner tonight. Far and away best version yet and the juiced orange I believe was the main reason. Give it a try you will like

Looks Good Bill! My family loves this on wings. I noticed you left out the brown sugar, any particular reason why?

Yep, you nailed it alright. It think the only thing I'd have done differently is add some orange zest to the beans to bring the whole thing together.

I miss Larry, and this is now on the list to do (finally) after all these years!! Nice work, Bill!

This sounds awesome, now i have a reason to take the frozen thighs out of the freezer. How is the kick from the sriracha? Pretty minimal?

Great looking plate, and that marinade/sauce sounds perfect.

Jimk might be onto something with that orange zest on the green beans. Why not, right? You've got the orange half right there.
