Filet with sides Saturday

I wanted to do something fairly quick since I basically had to grill in my garage due to the pollen. That stuff is thick here. Anyway, I went with a filet, corn, zukini, jalapeños and a first for me, celery. I had some extra in the fridge and read where it was good grilled. It did have a grilled taste so it was ok with me. Hope everyone is having a good weekend.


 
Good looking steak Neil! And something new to try too. How did you like the grilled celery?

Thanks for the comments. One thing I noticed with the pepper corer that came with the holder is that you have to select wide jalapeños to be able to core all the guts/seeds out from top to bottom. If not, you'll leave some at the bottom that becomes unbearably hot when you eat them. That was the stainless steel Steve Rachlan brand if anyone is interested. I would love to load that thing up but the wife don't like them. Oh well.

The celery had a nice charcoal taste. Sorry for picture of the celery. I still like it better with hot pimento cheese on it.
