Dr BBQ Ray Lampe heading to BBQ Hall of Fame

Daniel Vaughn at tmbbq.com is reporting that "Dr. BBQ" Ray Lampe will be inducted into the BBQ Hall of Fame at the American Royal in October. Can't find any confirmation of this on the AR website, but I assume Daniel's got a solid source for this info. Congrats to Dr. BBQ for receiving such an honor!

Dr. BBQ aka Ray Lampe is a very good man. If he wasn't already a part of the BBQ Hall of Fame, he certainly should be. I hope it is true and if so, a big congratulations to him!

"Dr. BBQ" Ray Lampe is no relation to me.
However, my father's name is Ray Lampe, and he passed away in 1999 at the age of 75.
