Dan are you saying only because it is a 1000 that you have pictured here is the reason the burners hit the RHS silver B swing table bracket.
I did the double Swing table mod on my Silver B but I did not notice any hinderance. Maybe I should double check.
Thanks @DanHoo igniting the light bulbs in my head. I see from your pic that Silver B shelves and trim due fit a 1000 frame to some point.
I like the premise of what this could turn out likeGenesis 3 with some Silver Trim added to the left side. This needs a frame catch on the left to hold the table up. The plastic condiment basket was later moved to my Silver/1000 mongrel.

About 3/4" longer for a 1000 vs Silver BWould make sense since the frames are the same depth (front to back). I think only the width changes a little due to slight variation on the firebox
I forgot to mention it has the bottom rack from a 2002 Gold B. It didn't fit very well.
I was referring to if it were a 2/2000 frame for the modified wire bottom.I don't think I would care for that. If your grill didn't have the E/W cross members, you would have to add them too.

I think Weber was deliberate in making the sizes all add up to the same. From 1/1000, to 2/x000, silver B and C to match. I imagine it kept costs down. Just like using the same tank hanging bracket on gas and charcoal grills. Until they went to the stopwatch frames.Thermoset shelves also fit. on a 2000/3000 it might take three of them to cover the bottom.
Nice grill for $50 even if both drip trays are gone.Log into Facebook
