Curb Alert !!!

Part of my fear too is it’s a glass bead cabinet. Not as hard on the metal, but could be bad if ingested
I blow them off with compressed air and run them through the dishwasher first. I don't want to eat any foreign matter either. I clean the stamped stainless grates on my grill every year this way. They start off nice and shiny but the heat does start to discolor them immediately just like the burner tubes and flavorizer bars.

Well, I'll bet they would come out super shiny and clean if you sandblast them then. It's just money in the bank on flips.
I believe they would come out with a dull finish if you blast them. They would be clean, but not shiny. I suppose you could try to shine them up with a wire wheel after that however.

That Spirit was on the curb?! Hey, let me know on it. I've been thinking about maybe picking something like that up to gift my sister for all the stress and work she's put in with our dad and even still with his estate
That spirit is now in my possession. Looks solid and rust free, short of burners and bars being pretty well shot. CI grates look like they would clean up well.

Agreed, but for cleaning up the bottom side would for sure be able to get in all the little nooks and crannies.

Can’t say I’ve seen this style Ducane. See it shares the SP320 side burner. Looks like it’s heavy.

Promising looking skyline north of Detroit!

Little steep at $250 but looks like it didn’t spend a lot of time in the sun
