Curb Alert !!!

Grill collected after a 400 mile round trip. Grill not quite in as good shape as FBMP pic suggested but still very solid. The grates, flav bars will be going in the dumpster but all else ok, even the much loved grease tray looked solid on first look. all wood is very good but the original handle likely needs replacing (Steve H, im looking at you). will asses properly this week and update in a new thread. Yes, I am mad btw

Looks like i will need one of your fine handles, i stripped down the grill today and will replace a number of parts with new. The original wooden handle is bowed outwards from the grill, not sure why but sort of assumed heat is a factor. wood type would be as close as possible to original, that sort of orangey fake tan look. Hit me up in the DM's with pricing if you would kind sir!!

Paul, let me see some pictures of the grill so I can figure out what kind of wood it probably is.

People are strange. I just picked up this one from a storage unit.

The grill has clearly been cooked on a good many, many times, and yet for some reason, in all that time…I guess they never wanted to remove the plastic from the doors.

Now when I list it for sale I’m torn whether it will benefit my sale in some way to leave the plastic on, or remove it and show off all that factory shine.

I think I would go with removing the plastic. Besides, it's been on there long enough to where it might not easily be removed.

It is raining 2 burners. This Free Silver A I picked has a good bottom, a propane tank and cover. Only issue I can see at the moment is the top crossover tube needs to be cut out and replaced. All the panels seem reasonable.
