I was just trying to look at the bright side of the wife putting the clamps on. No one can argue with free, and that one looks pretty nice.

I was only kidding. I actually made a spreadsheet of what I’ve spent on grill stuff. Aside from the smoking deal I got from @MarkCuda on the SSP, I’m still under $100. In that is a BNIB grill out light and rotisserie for the genesis 1000-5000 and a handful of deep boxes, a couple spirits, a 1971 18” brave, two performers, several durawood side tables and shelves, lots of Z bars, handles, summit grates, and the makings of a whole lot of Weber awesomeness!

And I couldn’t go because I have a golf outing I’m organizing

It's a nice looking grill, but that guy is just out of his mind on the price.

Yes, that is a beautiful lid. I wish that was near me. I would pick that up at least for the lid alone. I thought that lid was only on the 5000.

I have one and I don't think it came from a Genesis 5000. I am pretty sure it was on a regular 1000 like the one above.
